01Garages in Eaton

What Eaton floors look like.

Typical job
2-car garage, full-flake

Eaton is a farm town north of Greeley, with older homes near the center, newer subdivisions on the edges, and farms and acreage all around. That means a lot of hard-working floors: detached garages, equipment buildings and shops.

Older slabs here often have cracks, oil stains and years of wear. We grind the surface, repair what needs it and coat the floor so it's easier to clean and brighter to work in.

Whatever the floor, the job looks the same: we diamond-grind the slab, repair cracks and pits, put down a base coat, broadcast flake or quartz (or pour metallic), and seal it with a clear topcoat. No acid etching, no roll-on kits.

02Why coat it

Built for Eaton winters.

On the open plains around Eaton, winter means wind, drifting snow and mud season in spring. Water, grit and deicer come in on every vehicle and piece of equipment, and bare concrete soaks it all up.

Three things wear out Colorado garage floors, and a properly installed coating handles all three:

  1. 1

    Freeze-thaw

Bare concrete is porous. Snowmelt soaks in, freezes overnight and expands, and over a few Eaton winters that pops the surface into scaling, pits and spalled edges by the door.
  2. 2

    Mag chloride & road deicer

Colorado roads are treated with magnesium chloride and other deicers. It rides home on your tires, drips off as the car warms up and keeps eating at a bare slab. On a sealed floor it stays on top, where it rinses off.
  3. 3

    Hot-tire pickup

Tires heat up on the highway. Park a hot tire on a thin, poorly bonded coating and it can soften and lift right off with the tire. Diamond-ground prep and a real topcoat are how we prevent it.

“These guys are awesome, came in, figured out what needed to be done, and knocked it out. I had a large crack on my floor, along with several smaller ones, and they are gone. The large one was 9 ft and going in several different directions, and it's gone. Great job guys!!”

09FAQ

Eaton questions.

Don't see yours? Call and ask. That's what the phone's for.

How much does an epoxy garage floor cost in Eaton?

Our full-flake garage system runs about $6.25–$6.50 per sq ft. For example, a 2-car garage (about 450 sq ft) with full-flake lands around $2,813–$2,925. Slab repair can change that, so your final price comes after a free on-site measure.

Do you coat farm shops around Eaton?

Yes. As long as it's a concrete slab, we can grind, repair and coat it. Solid color is a common pick for working shops; full-flake if you want more texture and color.

Can you fix big cracks in an old shop floor?

In most cases, yes. Cracks get filled and ground flush before coating. If a crack points to a bigger structural issue, we'll tell you at the free measure.

How far is Eaton from your shop?

Eaton is about 35 to 45 minutes east of our Fort Collins shop. Call 970-599-1898 and we'll set up a free on-site measure at a time that works for you; Saturdays are by appointment.
