Nearby towns we serve
Thornton has older neighborhoods on the south end and large newer subdivisions to the north, most with attached two- and three-car garages. A lot of those newer garages are still on bare builder-grade concrete.
Older slabs usually need some crack and pit repair. Newer ones are often ready to grind and coat. Either way, you can see a price range in the instant estimate before we visit.
Whatever the floor, the job looks the same: we diamond-grind the slab, repair cracks and pits, put down a base coat, broadcast flake or quartz (or pour metallic), and seal it with a clear topcoat. No acid etching, no roll-on kits.
02Why coat it
Built for Thornton winters.
Thornton's winters bring plenty of snow days and treated roads on I-25 and E-470. That melt-off and deicer sits on the garage floor and works into bare concrete with each freeze-thaw cycle.
Three things wear out Colorado garage floors, and a properly installed coating handles all three:
- 1
Freeze-thaw
Bare concrete is porous. Snowmelt soaks in, freezes overnight and expands, and over a few Thornton winters that pops the surface into scaling, pits and spalled edges by the door. - 2
Mag chloride & road deicer
Colorado roads are treated with magnesium chloride and other deicers. It rides home on your tires, drips off as the car warms up and keeps eating at a bare slab. On a sealed floor it stays on top, where it rinses off. - 3
Hot-tire pickup
Tires heat up on the highway. Park a hot tire on a thin, poorly bonded coating and it can soften and lift right off with the tire. Diamond-ground prep and a real topcoat are how we prevent it.

BeforeAfter“These guys are awesome, came in, figured out what needed to be done, and knocked it out. I had a large crack on my floor, along with several smaller ones, and they are gone. The large one was 9 ft and going in several different directions, and it's gone. Great job guys!!”

How much does an epoxy garage floor cost in Thornton?
Our full-flake garage system runs about $6.25–$6.50 per sq ft. For example, a 3-car garage (about 650 sq ft) with full-flake lands around $4,063–$4,225. Slab repair can change that, so your final price comes after a free on-site measure.
Do you work in Thornton?
Yes. Thornton is part of our Denver-metro area along I-25. Use the instant estimate for a range, then call 970-599-1898 to set up a free measure.
Is a coated garage floor slippery when wet?
Full-flake floors have texture from the flake, which gives better grip than smooth concrete or paint. We can add more texture in the topcoat for areas that stay wet.
