Nearby towns we serve
Wellington has grown into a town of family homes with attached two- and three-car garages, plus acreage properties on the outskirts with pole barns, shops and outbuildings. A lot of those garages double as the gear room, the workout space and the place the kids' bikes live.
Pole barns and shops out here take a beating: trailers, tractors, mud and tools. A coated floor makes them easier to sweep, brighter to work in and a lot better at shrugging off spills.
Whatever the floor, the job looks the same: we diamond-grind the slab, repair cracks and pits, put down a base coat, broadcast flake or quartz (or pour metallic), and seal it with a clear topcoat. No acid etching, no roll-on kits.
02Why coat it
Built for Wellington winters.
North of Fort Collins the wind picks up and the snow blows across open ground, so Wellington garages and shops see plenty of melt-off and road treatment. On bare concrete that water soaks in, freezes and slowly breaks up the surface.
Three things wear out Colorado garage floors, and a properly installed coating handles all three:
- 1
Freeze-thaw
Bare concrete is porous. Snowmelt soaks in, freezes overnight and expands, and over a few Wellington winters that pops the surface into scaling, pits and spalled edges by the door. - 2
Mag chloride & road deicer
Colorado roads are treated with magnesium chloride and other deicers. It rides home on your tires, drips off as the car warms up and keeps eating at a bare slab. On a sealed floor it stays on top, where it rinses off. - 3
Hot-tire pickup
Tires heat up on the highway. Park a hot tire on a thin, poorly bonded coating and it can soften and lift right off with the tire. Diamond-ground prep and a real topcoat are how we prevent it.

Real Iron Cross jobs, photographed before we started and after we finished. No filters, no renders.

BeforeAfter“These guys are awesome, came in, figured out what needed to be done, and knocked it out. I had a large crack on my floor, along with several smaller ones, and they are gone. The large one was 9 ft and going in several different directions, and it's gone. Great job guys!!”

09FAQ
Wellington questions.
Don't see yours? Call and ask. That's what the phone's for.
How much does an epoxy garage floor cost in Wellington?
Our full-flake garage system runs about $6.25–$6.50 per sq ft. For example, a 2-car garage (about 450 sq ft) with full-flake lands around $2,813–$2,925. Slab repair can change that, so your final price comes after a free on-site measure.
Can you coat a pole barn floor in Wellington?
Yes, as long as it's a concrete slab. We grind, repair cracks and coat it with a system that fits how the building is used. Full-flake and solid color are the common picks.
Will a coating hold up to trailers and equipment?
A properly prepped, diamond-ground floor bonds to the slab, which is what lets it handle heavy use. We'll talk through what you park and work on at the free measure and recommend the right system.
