Solid color epoxy & commercial floors
Clean, bright, single-color coating for warehouses, shops and commercial floors.
01What it is
Solid Color, done right.
Best for
- Warehouses and industrial bays
- Storage and utility rooms
- Commercial floors
A solid color floor is a clean, single-color epoxy coating. It's bright, it reflects light around the space, and it's easy to sweep and easy to mark.
It's the practical choice where function comes first: warehouses, industrial bays, storage rooms, utility rooms, workshops and commercial floors. It's also our most affordable system, which makes it a good fit for big square footage.
Solid color shows dust and scuffs more than flake because there's no texture to hide them, so it's best where floors get swept regularly. For a working home garage, most people prefer flake.
02The process
How we install it.
- 1
Diamond-grind the slab
We grind the whole floor with diamond tooling to remove the weak top layer, sealers, stains and old coatings, and to open the concrete up. That profile is what lets the coating bite into the slab instead of sitting on top of it, which is why acid etching and roll-on kits peel and ground floors don't. - 2
Repair cracks, pits and spalls
Cracks are cut open and filled, pitting and spalled spots by the door are patched, and every repair is ground flush with the slab. Fixing them before coating keeps them from telegraphing through your new floor. - 3
Solid color base
A pigmented epoxy coat in the color you pick goes down over the ground, repaired slab. - 4
Detail edges and drains
Edges, corners and the areas around drains and posts get detail work so the color goes down evenly wall to wall. - 5
Topcoat
A clear or tinted topcoat adds durability and makes the floor easy to clean.
03Time & care
How long, and how to keep it.
Good for warehouses, industrial bays, storage and utility rooms, shops and commercial floors.
Solid color floors are usually the quickest system to install, but size and slab repair drive the schedule. For businesses, we plan the work around your operation.
Cure time depends on the products and temperature. We'll tell you when the floor can take foot traffic, equipment and vehicles.
Caring for your floor
- Sweep or dust-mop regularly; a bright floor shows dirt.
- Mop or auto-scrub with a neutral cleaner.
- Clean up oil and chemical spills promptly.

FAQ
Solid Color questions.
Don't see yours? Call and ask. That's what the phone's for.
How much does a solid color epoxy floor cost?
Solid color runs about $5–$6 per sq ft. A 1,200 sq ft shop lands around $6,000–$7,200 before any extra repair. Final price after a free on-site measure.
Is a solid color floor slippery?
Smooth, glossy floors can be slick when wet. Texture can be added to the topcoat for areas that see water, or quartz broadcast is the better choice for floors that are wet most of the time.
What colors are available?
Common choices are grays, tans and other neutral colors that brighten a space. We'll show options at the estimate.
Is solid color good for a home garage?
It works, but it shows dust and scuffs more than flake. Most homeowners prefer full-flake for a garage they park in every day.
“These guys are awesome, came in, figured out what needed to be done, and knocked it out. I had a large crack on my floor, along with several smaller ones, and they are gone. The large one was 9 ft and going in several different directions, and it's gone. Great job guys!!”

You can tell they take pride in their process — the floor looks clean, uniform, and professionally installed. They showed up on time, kept the workspace organized, and delivered exactly what was promised.”
