Nearby towns we serve
Timnath is mostly newer construction, and that means a lot of large attached garages, three-car layouts and custom homes with oversized bays. Many of those floors are still bare concrete, with no cracks to speak of yet: the easiest and best time to coat.
We also see custom shops and detached garages on bigger lots around Timnath. Since it's practically next door to our Fort Collins shop, setting up a measure here is about as easy as it gets.
Whatever the floor, the job looks the same: we diamond-grind the slab, repair cracks and pits, put down a base coat, broadcast flake or quartz (or pour metallic), and seal it with a clear topcoat. No acid etching, no roll-on kits.
02Why coat it
Built for Timnath winters.
New slabs aren't immune to Colorado winters. Fresh concrete is porous, and every snowmelt and deicer drip that soaks in starts the freeze-thaw cycle that leads to scaling and pitting. Coating early keeps that surface sealed from the start.
Three things wear out Colorado garage floors, and a properly installed coating handles all three:
- 1
Freeze-thaw
Bare concrete is porous. Snowmelt soaks in, freezes overnight and expands, and over a few Timnath winters that pops the surface into scaling, pits and spalled edges by the door. - 2
Mag chloride & road deicer
Colorado roads are treated with magnesium chloride and other deicers. It rides home on your tires, drips off as the car warms up and keeps eating at a bare slab. On a sealed floor it stays on top, where it rinses off. - 3
Hot-tire pickup
Tires heat up on the highway. Park a hot tire on a thin, poorly bonded coating and it can soften and lift right off with the tire. Diamond-ground prep and a real topcoat are how we prevent it.

Real Iron Cross jobs, photographed before we started and after we finished. No filters, no renders.

BeforeAfter“These guys are awesome, came in, figured out what needed to be done, and knocked it out. I had a large crack on my floor, along with several smaller ones, and they are gone. The large one was 9 ft and going in several different directions, and it's gone. Great job guys!!”

09FAQ
Timnath questions.
Don't see yours? Call and ask. That's what the phone's for.
How much does an epoxy garage floor cost in Timnath?
Our full-flake garage system runs about $6.25–$6.50 per sq ft. For example, a 3-car garage (about 650 sq ft) with full-flake lands around $4,063–$4,225. Slab repair can change that, so your final price comes after a free on-site measure.
How long should a new Timnath slab cure before it's coated?
New concrete needs time to cure and dry before any coating goes down. We check the slab at the free measure and tell you when it's ready, so the coating bonds the way it should.
Can you coat the garage before we move in?
Often, yes, and an empty garage is the easiest one to coat. Call 970-599-1898 and we'll work the measure and install around your move-in.
