Commercial kitchen floors
Seamless, textured floors for restaurant kitchens, breweries and food prep areas that clean up fast and give your crew grip.
01Overview
Commercial kitchens, done right.
Good for
- Restaurant kitchens
- Prep and dish areas
- Breweries and taprooms
- Walk-in and storage areas
A commercial kitchen floor takes water, grease, dropped pans and constant foot traffic. Tile and grout break down under that, and grout lines hold grease and bacteria. A seamless resin floor gives you one continuous surface you can scrub and squeegee.
Our usual pick for kitchens is a quartz broadcast system: colored quartz aggregate set into resin for a dense, textured floor. The texture can be set to the space, more grip at the line and dish pit, less where carts roll.
We can carry the coating up the base of the wall so water and grime can't collect at the edge. If your kitchen sees heavy hot-water washdowns, tell us at the walkthrough: the resin choice matters, and we'll recommend the right system for how you actually clean.
We know you can't shut down for long. We'll plan the schedule with you around your hours and give you the cure times up front.

02The process
How we do it.
- 1
Walkthrough
We look at the floor, drains, traffic and how you clean, then recommend a system and texture. - 2
Grind and repair the concrete
We diamond-grind the slab so the coating bonds into the concrete, then fill cracks, pits and low spots and grind them flush. Good prep is what keeps a floor from peeling. - 3
Wall base
Where needed, the coating carries up the wall base so the edge is sealed. - 4
Resin and quartz
Quartz aggregate is broadcast into the resin for a dense, textured surface. - 5
Seal coats
Clear coats lock the quartz in, with the texture set to the area.

FAQ
Commercial kitchens questions.
Don't see yours? Call and ask. That's what the phone's for.
What's the best floor for a commercial kitchen?
Usually a seamless, textured resin floor such as a quartz broadcast system. The right resin depends on how hot your washdowns get and what hits the floor. We recommend it after a walkthrough.
Can you work around our hours?
Yes. We plan the schedule with you and give you the cure times up front so you know when you can reopen.
What does a commercial kitchen floor cost?
Quartz systems run about $7–$9 per sq ft including diamond-ground prep. Wall base, drains, heavy repair or removing old tile add to it. The final price comes after a free walkthrough.
“These guys are awesome, came in, figured out what needed to be done, and knocked it out. I had a large crack on my floor, along with several smaller ones, and they are gone. The large one was 9 ft and going in several different directions, and it's gone. Great job guys!!”

“I had a great experience with Iron Cross Coatings from start to finish. The communication was clear, the prep work was done right, and the final result exceeded expectations. You can tell they take pride in their process — the floor looks clean, uniform, and professionally installed. They showed up on time, kept the workspace organized, and delivered exactly what was promised.”
