Epoxy countertops
A metallic epoxy pour that gives kitchen counters, islands, bars and vanities a one-of-a-kind, stone-like look.
01Overview
Epoxy countertops, done right.
Good for
- Kitchen counters and islands
- Home bars
- Bathroom vanities
- Shop and laundry tops
Epoxy countertops use the same metallic pigments as our metallic floors, poured and worked by hand on your counters. The result looks like marble, granite or something completely your own, with real depth and a glossy finish.
In many cases we can pour over your existing countertops instead of tearing them out. Laminate and other solid, stable tops can often be sanded, primed and coated. Cracked, loose or water-damaged tops need to be fixed or replaced first. We look at what you have and tell you honestly which way to go.
It's a popular upgrade for kitchens, islands, home bars, bathroom vanities and shop or laundry tops, and a way to get a custom look without the cost and wait of new stone.
Countertops are priced per project, because size, edges, backsplashes and sink cutouts vary so much. Send a few photos with the quote form or call, and we'll give you a straight number.
- One of a kindEvery pour is hand-worked, so the pattern is yours alone.
- Often no tear-outSolid existing tops can usually be coated in place.

02The process
How we do it.
- 1
Look and measure

Protect and prep
Cabinets, floors and walls are masked. Tops are cleaned, sanded and repaired as needed. - 3
Prime and base
A primer and base color go down so the metallic has a solid, even foundation. - 4
Metallic pour
The metallic epoxy is poured and worked by hand to build the movement and depth you picked. - 5
Cure
We give you the cure schedule before you set anything on the counters.
FAQ
Epoxy countertops questions.
Don't see yours? Call and ask. That's what the phone's for.
Can you pour epoxy over my existing countertops?
Often, yes. Solid, stable tops like laminate can usually be prepped and coated. Tops that are cracked, loose or water-damaged need repair or replacement first. We'll tell you at the visit.
How much do epoxy countertops cost?
They're priced per project because size, edges, backsplashes and cutouts vary. Send photos through the quote form or call 970-599-1898 for a straight number.
Are epoxy countertops heat-proof?
No. Like most countertop surfaces, epoxy can be damaged by hot pans straight off the stove, so use trivets. Cut on a cutting board, not on the counter.
Can I see my colors first?
Yes. We bring real XPS metallic samples to the visit so you can see the colors in your own light.
“These guys are awesome, came in, figured out what needed to be done, and knocked it out. I had a large crack on my floor, along with several smaller ones, and they are gone. The large one was 9 ft and going in several different directions, and it's gone. Great job guys!!”

“I had a great experience with Iron Cross Coatings from start to finish. The communication was clear, the prep work was done right, and the final result exceeded expectations. You can tell they take pride in their process — the floor looks clean, uniform, and professionally installed. They showed up on time, kept the workspace organized, and delivered exactly what was promised.”
